Contoh Prosedur Penagihan Rumah Sakit ke Badan Penjaminan Sosial (BPJS)

1.    Bagian Kasir Casemix BPJS menyerahkan dokumen billing ke bagian AR (Finance Departemen) beserta dengan dokumen pendukungnya.
2.    Kelengkapan dokumen pendukung penagihan yang harus dilampirkan antara lain :
a.    Resume Medis
b.    Lampiran Apotek
c.    Laboratorium
d.    Kuitansi
e.    Rekap Tagihan
f.    Invoice
g.    Surat Eligibilitas Peserta 
3.    Bagian AR melakukan verifikasi nilai billing dan dokumen pendukungnya sebelum mengirimkan tagihan tersebut ke BPJS.
4.    Bagian AR akan mencatat semua penagihan yang dilakukan dalam komputer sebagai control atas terbentuknya Piutang.
5.    Bagian AR melakukan monitoring atas pelunasan Piutang, dan membuat laporan bulanan mengenai Outstanding AR
6.    Apabila Piutang belum dilunasi dan sudah melewati 14 hari kerja setelah berkas tagihan diterima oleh BPJS, maka bagian AR akan melakukan follow up penagihan ke kantor BPJS.
7.    Bagian AR membantu melakukan rekonsiliasi Piutang dengan BPJS apabila diperlukan.
8.    Jika BPJS  sudah melakukan pelunasan, maka harus segera dilakukan pengupdatetan di sistem untuk menghapus piutang, selambat-lambatnya 1 hari kerja setelah pelunasan masuk ke rekening perusahaaan dan teridentivikasi.
9.   Apabila terdapat pembayaran yang belum teridentifikasi (tidak mencantumkan no Invoice) maka bagian AR akan melakukan konfirmasi  dengan pihak terkait (BPJS)
