Contoh Prosedur Penanganan Code Blue Rumah Sakit

1.Petugas pertama yang menemukan penderita yang pingsan, langsung menilai keadaan lingkungan sekitar apakah aman untuk sipenderita maupun untuk sipenolong (Danger)

2.Cek kesadaran si penderita dengan memanggil   nama / panggilan ( Bapak, Ibu, dll )dan menggoyangkan bahu sambil menekan otot trapezius

3.Jika penderita tidak ada respon, segera minta bantuan kepada orang lain dengan berteriak “arrest” dan/atau menekan bell emergency - bila memungkinkan

4. Petugas pertama meminta perawat/petugas lain untuk mengaktifkan “kode biru” (lihat  SOP Basic Life Support)

5. Mengaktifkan Kode Biru dengan menelpon ke pesawat  2222 dan menyebutkan nama  kepada operator untuk didokumentasikan :

  • Tipe kode emergecy tentang :” kode biru”
  • Lokasi terjadinya emergency: lantai _____ Kamar ______
  • Identitas si penelepon.

6. Menulis di Auditing form (Log)  sesuai yang dilaporkan oleh petugas kedua, dan mengulanginya.   

Mengaktifkan kode biru dengan menggunakan ”paging”  yang mengatakan .....” kode biru,  di lantai .....kamar......” .diulang sebanyak 3 kali.    

7. Setelah mendengar paging kode biru, Tim Kode Biru langsung menuju area kejadian (lihat SOP  Advance Life  Support)

8. Ketika mendengar paging kode biru, petugas security yang ada disektar kejadian  segera mengambil Defibrilator di  unit terdekat (lihat lampiran

9. Apabila nomor pesawat telpon 5555 tidak berfungsi, maka nomor alternatif lainnya adalah :   1375 (sentral monitor) dan  b.   1410 ( sentral operator telpon)

10. Memastikan bahwa kode biru sudah diaktifkan dengan cara mendengar  ”paging”.  Jika ”paging” tidak aktif, petugas kedua segera menelpon unit Intensive Care ke pesawat 4321/321/442
